There's no better way to cool off in the Summertime than in the crystal clear Ozark creeks of Arkansas, and we have some of the best! While all of our Retreats are within an easy distance to creek access in the National Forest, it can be a bonus to be steps away from the creek just out your door. If you're looking for cabins with direct creek access, take a look at these great options.

Camphouse on Livingston Creek

1 BR/1BA + Loft

Lounge on the covered porch with a beverage and listen to the sounds of Livingston Creek. This cabin is right on the banks of the creek and just over a mile from fishing on the White River. With a queen bed in the downstairs bedroom and two twins/one full bed in the upstairs loft, it's a perfect getaway for six.

Skip Rock Cottage

Skip Rock Cottage overlooks the clear waters of beautiful Livingston Creek, a spring-fed stream that runs year round and meanders through the Ozark National Forest. The cabin sleeps 4 in two bedrooms, each with queen bed, and has a full kitchen, as well as a full bath with stand up shower and an ensuite half bath.

The Cottage has direct creek access, and though a bit shallow for fishing, it's perfect for wading, lounging, exploring, and of course....skipping rocks.

**These next three are together in a meadow and perfect rented together for larger groups. The creek is not visible from any of these, but is an easy walk across the meadow from all of them.

Meadow Cabin

Nestled in a meadow along Sylamore Creek is this perfect family getaway. Spend your days fishing and splashing in the creek and your evenings gathered around the fire pit. With modern rustic decor and all new furnishings you'll have a cozy and comfortable place to come home to after a day of adventures in the Ozarks.

Meadow Cabin has three bedrooms, each with queen beds. One bedroom is downstairs and separated from the kitchen by barn door. The other two are upstairs with a loft area between, where you'll find a twin daybed for additional sleeping. There is a half bath upstairs and one full bathroom with tub/shower combo downstairs. The dining area has seating for 6.

Cottage at the Creek

The Cottage is a small cabin in Mountain View, Arkansas tucked in a remote peaceful meadow- a perfect homebase for exploring the Ozarks. Amble across the meadow to the creek to cast your fishing line or to cool off in the clear water.

Cottage at the Creek has one bedroom with queen bed and one full bathroom with tub/shower combo as well as a queen sleeper sofa and dining area for four.

The Cabin-ette is an itty bitty creek-side cabin- perfect for one or two people situated just across the meadow from Sylamore Creek, an easy 3 minute walk away. The creek runs cold and clear year round, and is the perfect depth for splashing, floating, or soaking up the sunshine on the gravel bar. With it's idyllic location and all the basics you need for an Ozark getaway, you'll want to snuggle up with the one you love in this quaint tiny cabin.

Drink your coffee on the covered porch watching the sun rise over the hills. You may even spot a deer grazing or a bald eagle flying over the meadow.

The space has one queen bed and a bathroom with a stand-up shower. The kitchenette includes a dorm size refrigerator, toaster oven, hot plate, microwave, and coffee maker. There is also a propane grill on the deck for your use.
