Mountain View Bluegrass Festival

March 9-11 2023

One of the area's popular bi-annual events, the Mountain View Bluegrass Festival offers up Ozark pickin and grinnin with local talent and musicians from all around in the Spring and Fall.

Arkansas Folk Festival

April 14-15 2023

Boasting 59 years, The annual Arkansas Folk Festival, takes place every third Saturday in April . Come join us, in the beautiful Ozarks, for a fun filled weekend with activities for all ages! Activities include Music on the Square, a parade on Saturday morning, street vendors and tasty food vendors.

Dulcimer Jamboree

April 27-29 2023

Make your plans to visit Mountain View this spring for performances by the nation’s top mountain dulcimer and hammered dulcimer players during the evening on Friday, April 29th & Saturday, April 30th at the park’s 1,000-seat music venue, the Ozark Highlands Theater.  


Mountain View Iris Festival

May 5-6 2023

Folks come from all around to see the Iris in bloom in Mountain View in May and there's a festival to celebrate! Events include the carousel organs, iris garden tours, plant sales, Mountain View merchants open with arts and crafts selections, Friday night live music on the courthouse square at 7 pm, dancing on the courthouse square, food vendors on the square, and local restaurants open.

Cowboy Music and Arts Festival


This spring, retreat to the Ozarks for the Cowboy Music & Arts Festival at the Ozark Folk Center State Park in lovely Mountain View, Arkansas. Join the fun us as the Folk Center celebrates the songs and stories of the American Cowboy during this two-day, family-friendly event featuring GRAMMY award-winning music, the region's finest artisans, gardens, and Southern style buffets at The Skillet Restaurant.

Mountain View Bluegrass Festival

Don't miss Bluegrass music at the Ozark Folk Center! Proceeds from the festival help fund music scholarships and the Music Roots Program for youth in Mtn. View Public Schools.
