What is there to do in Mountain View?

Are your retreats pet friendly? 

Yes! All are dog friendly, with a fee that varies from cabin to cabin, depending on size.. We do not host cats due to allergies. Also, we limit the number of dogs to two.

Do I need a license to fish?

Yes, you will need a license to fish in our area.  You can buy your license online at www.takemefishing.org, and be sure to purchase a trout stamp as well. Check out our guide for fishing in Mountain View.

What kind of coffee maker does my cabin have?

All of our cabins have standard Mr Coffee drip coffee makers.  We provide a starter pack of coffee as well as filters for the machine.

Is there a grill at the cabin?

Absolutely!  All retreats have a propane grill, propane tank provided.

Do I need to bring firewood?

I provide firewood, but you may want to byo kindling, or pick up sticks in the yard for fire starter.

Can I check in early?

Due to Covid and to allow maximum time between guests, we are asking guests to stick to our standard 4:00 PM arrival time.

Can I bring my ATV/UTV?

We don't allow all terrain vehicles at Fireside properties.

What is your cancellation policy?

Policies vary slightly according to booking channel.  For direct bookings on the website, the policy is:

85% of paid prepayments refundable when cancelled 14 days before arrival or earlier. 50% of paid prepayments refundable when cancelled 7 days before arrival or earlier. 0% refundable if cancelled after.  No date change will be made 7 days before arrival or closer.
