Get on the Water!
Mountain View, Arkansas is home to clear creeks and rivers that invite travelers to explore the Ozarks by boat. The cold water makes it perfect for trout, and for adventurers looking for a spot to cool off. Rent a canoe, kayak or raft from one of the local outfitters, or bring your own. Paddle under the historic Swinging Bridge at the confluence of North and South Sylamore Creeks. Float along the White River in a raft with the family. Picnic on the creekbank. The water is calling your name....
"Wow! We had never seen water so clear. The Sylamore Creek is nothing short of magical. We rented kayaks and spent the whole day exploring the area. The kids were so entertained watching the fish swim under our boats. Next time we come we plan to drive out and float the Buffalo!"
